Samantha “Sam” Krew has handed Tulane University their first verbal commitment for the 2021-22 season and beyond. She told Swimming World: “I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic careers at Tulane University! Thank you to my family, friends, coaches, and teachers for supporting me along the way. Roll Wave!” A talented freestyler and butterflyer, Krew most recently earned silver in the 200 free and bronze in the 200 fly at the Arizona Senior Open.

Williams, who owns the Summer Juniors standard in the 200m breast, does her club swimming with Tucson Ford Dealers Aquatics. She most recently competed in both breaststroke events at Junior Nationals this past summer after earning bronze in the 200m breast at Arizona LCM Senior Opens. Last winter, she was the 200 breast runner-up at Arizona Seniors before going on to earn a trio of best times at NCSAs.
