Isabella Korbly from Acton, Massachusetts has announced her verbal commitment to the appication process* at Princeton University for the class of 2025. A USA Swimming Scholastic All-American, Korbly will be a double legacy at Princeton, as both her parents –Jenn Aber Korbly and Steve Korbly– swam for the Tigers in the class of 1997. Korbly is a rising senior at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School who does her year-round swimming with United Swim Club. Princeton University has scored a new verbal commitment* for the 2021-22 season and beyond from Jaime Chen of Bellevue, Wash. She will join Acton, Mass. native Isabella Korbly as a member of the Tigers’ class of 2025. The University of Florida’s home O’Connell Center Pool is being renamed the Anne Marie Rogers Swimming and Diving Pool after a $1 million gift to Florida athletics from swimming alum Veronica Meinhard and her wife Kristina M. Johnson . Rogers, who served as the school’s associate athletics director from 1985-2003, is regarded as a “trailblazer” for UF’s women’s athletic programs, according to the school’s announcement. PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women's swimming and diving team split a meet with Princeton and Cornell on Saturday afternoon at Sheer Pool. The Quakers fell to the Tigers, 194-106, and beat the Big Red, 219-81.
