Jan. 19, 2021 — The University of Akron has received a verbal commitment from Grace Nuhfer for its class of 2025. She is a year-round swimmer at Greenwood Gators Inc. and she is in her final year at Greenwood Community High School. Nuhfer is a senior at Greenwood Community High School. During her junior season, she competed at the Franklin Community Indiana HS Sectional Championships. July 18, 2020 — The Mid-American Conference announced Friday that it will be postponing the start of its Olympic fall sports (field hockey, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s cross country) competition until September 3.
