March 3, 2020 ILLINOIS — The 2020 Illinois Boys State Swimming and Diving Championships took place on Saturday, Feb. 29 at the New Trier Natatorium in Winnetka, Ill. The meet was highlighted by Loyola Academy’s Luke Maurer who broke the Illinois state record in the 200 free during prelims with a time of 1:34.49. St. Charles North defended their state title with a total of 137 points, just two points ahead of runner-up Loyola Academy (135).
