Jan. 9, 2021— Japanese Olympian and multi-world champion Daiya Seto is still searching for a new training home since announcing his return to competition. The 26-year-old had been affiliated with All Nippon Airways (ANA) prior to the extramarital affair he admitted to having, an incident that resulted in an ethics code violation. Tokyo 2020 Confirms All Venues Have Been Secured For Olympic Games
July 17, 2020— The Tokyo 2020 Organising Committee has secured all 43 venues for use during the rescheduled Olympic Games in July 2021, it was announced on Friday. The Olympic Village will also be used for its original intended purpose to house around 11,000 athletes after doubts were raised because of the handover of converted apartments to residents and developers following the Games which were due to start one week from today. March 8, 2020— World Championships medalist Michael Andrew had a big swim on Saturday night at the 2020 Pro Swim Series in Des Moines. Andrew raced to a 1:56.83 in the 200 IM, finishing over a second ahead of the field. That dropped over half a second from his former best. NCAA Champion Andrew Seliskar took 2nd in 1:58.01, taking a couple of tenths off his lifetime best from 2018. Andrew’s former best was a 1:57.49 from the Richmond Pro Swim Series last April.
