Sept. 8, 2018 — Make it 2-for-2 for Vladimir Morozov. After setting the World Cup record in the 50 free on Friday, he added another World Cup record in the 50 backstroke.

Morozov, from Russia, won the event in 24.43 to break the World Cup record of 24.58, set by David Plummer of the U.S. in 2015.
