July 19, 2020 — Concerns over COVID-19 have caused the closure of two swim clubs in south New Jersey this week after positive coronavirus tests at each and a growing number of cases in the region. According to the report by Cherry Hill’s Patch , the two clubs are Cherry Valley Swim Club and Covered Bridge Swim Club. The former reported an employee testing positive, while the latter also had a case at the club. Cherry Valley has since reopened after closing for cleaning Wednesday. July 9, 2020 — Trevor Jones has opted to stay in-state for his college career after verbally committing to Michigan State University for the fall of 2021. He told A talented butterflyer, IMer, and freestyler, Jones does his club swimming with dROP Aquatics and owns the Winter Junior cut in the 200 fly. He earned three best times at Juniors East in December and placed 13th in the 200 fly at Indianapolis Sectionals in 2019. Last summer, he took 10th in the 200m fly at Greensboro Futures where he also finaled in the 100m free.
