Despite an illness having disrupted his preparations, Kristof Milak was the star of the Hungarian nationals held last week in Debrecen. The Olympic and FINA world champion claimed three gold and three silver medals, all in individual events, as he clocked the world No. 1 time in the 200m fly and No. 2 time in the 100m of the year.

Tributes were paid to Laszlo Cseh at the end of day 2 of the FINA World Cup at the Duna Arena, Budapest, following the Hungarian's retirement.
