The Australian swimmer claimed the stunning accolade after winning two medals on Tuesday at Birmingham 2022 to take her total to 19 before extending her medal tally to 20 on the last day of swimming at the Games on Wednesday (3 August).
During the sixth day of the 2022 Commonwealth Games, Ariarne Titmus won the women’s 400 free in 3:58.06. This is the 4th fastest swim in her career and the 7th fastest performance of all time. BIRMINGHAM, United Kingdom Canada's Maggie Mac Neil added another victory to her illustrious swimming resume. The Olympic and world champion won the women's 100-metre butterfly on Saturday at the Commonwealth Games, while Nicolas-Guy Turbide raced to gold in the Para 50 freestyle. Mac Neil, a 22-year-old from London, Ont., raced to a Games record of 56.36 seconds, edging Australia's Emma McKeon (56.38).

Scotlands Duncan Scott & Canadas Maggie Mac Neil won the much anticipated races in the 200 free and 100 butterfly respectively that featured two Olympic medalists in both. New Zealands Lewis Clareburt also raced to the fourth fastest performer in the world in the 400 IM.
